Overview

Technical Associates is a multi-disciplined, full-service engineering and staffing organization. We are currently seeking a Project Administrator to support a major initiative at a local manufacturing facility. This role is a 6-month onsite assignment, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-impact project involving quality systems and Proficy implementation. The Project Administrator will play a key role in supporting and maintaining quality documentation and configuration data. This position requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual with strong communication and collaboration skills, who can effectively work with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment. 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain documentation for Quality end-users.
  • Perform updates to Quality Variables, product specifications, and configurations.
  • Develop Quality Reports to support end-users.
  • Conduct frequent reviews to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a similar administrative or project coordination role, preferably within a manufacturing or quality-focused environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to interact across departments and organizational levels.
  • High standards in safety, quality, attendance, and punctuality.

Essential Functions

  • Must be able to walk long distances (up to 1 mile+) and throughout a large manufacturing plant.
  • Ability to navigate stairways and elevated platforms.
  • Must walk only in pedestrian walkways due to forklift traffic.
  • Awareness of safety risks related to plant equipment and walkways is essential.
