Technical Associates is a multi-disciplined, full-service engineering organization. We provide all aspects of project scope from front-end engineering to construction support and start-up for a wide-range of industrial clients. Our clients are primarily in the food & beverage, pulp & paper, pharmaceutical, chemical and other consumer-related products industries.

We are currently seeking a Project Administrator for our Kennesaw office. This is a direct, salaried position with our company. Successful candidates must have excellent organization, written, communication, and teamwork skills. Procurement responsibilities:

  • Prepare Request for Quotes and submittals
  • Request for Quotes review and prepare documents for award selection
  • Create purchase orders
  • Track orders and expedite material
  • Create receiving log for material
  • Match invoices to POs and verify accuracy. Obtain necessary approval, process in software program and send to corporate to voucher
  • Print invoices and distribute copies from Corporate 
  • Set up new vendors
  • Complete bi-weekly PO close report
  • Enter and monitor RMAs

 Project responsibilities:

  • Create New Project Directory and set up Project Budget Workbooks. Project entry into software program
  • Prepare Project Budget Workbook revisions as necessary
  • Review and maintain budget log of active projects
  • Assist in project proposal review and submission
  • Project schedule creation and updates
  • Project forecast and opportunity Log
  • Resource loading forecast
  • Prepare all timesheet and expense report revisions
  • Complete all project clean-up as directed [clear committed, etc.]
  • Review and maintain all BILL hours [work with managers and employees to move time into appropriate project or overhead classification]
  • Client invoicing
  • Complete weekly reports
  • Prepare and maintain Project Completion Memos as necessary
  • Handle all other necessary paperwork each month


  • Accounting and project background required
  • Must be extremely well versed in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Project
  • AutoCAD (Novice Level – print and creation of PDFs)
